Actually, this is how I have it. I was thinking that maybe the hard drives on 
the bottom (one ATA, one SCSI) were interfering, (rf/magnetically) so I 
disconnected them, but the Skyline works with the SCSI drive connected, but 
not with the ATA.  Now that I have had the Skyline card working, I will try 
moving them around. Originally, I had the Skyline card next to the CPU (XLR8 
G4/450), but thought that maybe that was doing what I just thought the 
drives/cables were doing, so I moved it to the bottom.

<< You don't say which Mac you are using, which does affect the PCI bus 
configuration.   In general make sure the Sonnet card is closest to 
the 'core' of the computer and the skyline further out.   If you have 
that configuration already, try swapping the order of the cards.   If 
you have a video card, it should be closest in but you might try 
placing the sonnet closest, video next, and skyline last.   This is a 
low probability of success change, but it is worth the try. >>
