There are two 9500s: 1) Tsunami, and 2) Tsunami w/ROM. (1) has no soldered ROMs but has a ROM-SIMM instead, and that ROM-SIMM has eight devices. (2) has soldered ROMs, and does indeed have four devices. The mother of all of them is the Windsurfer mobo, and some of the debugging test points are extant on the Tsunami and later machines. The Windsurfer used a discrete delay line; the Tsunami and later mobos used a "printed" delay line ...
