Mozilla is a bloated toad. (Read the various threads about Safari on USENET, as to why Safari *isn't* based on Gekko, Mozilla's engine). iCab is a beautiful piece of software being written by a small group of people for the Mac and only for the Mac. It is a standards-compliant browser, with many many customizable options. Because its currently under real development by real Mac developers, you can work directly with them instead of forwarding bug reports into a black hole. Yes, there are some sites that include browser-specific code. Web authors do that either because they're paid by MS <- Dan's pet theory, or they're too stupid to do it right by using the published standards. iCab has the ability to identify itself as other browsers. This lets it work with sites that normally you'd be locked out of. Try it. It will grow on you! There is an iCab support group & mailing list on Yahoo. Very helpful people there AND the actual developers. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/icab - Dan. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
