Yes, they are time-limited betas because iCab is currently under 
development, pre-release.  You can use it for free, or you can pays 
yer $ and get the latest hot off the compiler, etc.  If you register 
iCab then it never expires.

The iCab development team has done quite well making new public 
releases well before the expiration dates.  But even if they slip, 
iCab's ability to download the latest doesn't expire.

If you had a problem with a version expiring on you, perhaps you 
downloaded an out-of-date version instead of getting the current one 
from www.icab.de?
