Open History, under the Navigate menu.
Or pull directly from the submenus below that.

The number of urls stashed in the history is controlled with a pref.

Check out the filters - basically complete per-site configurations 
for ad blocking etc ... there are canned ones available for 
downloading from iCab's web site, plus a few others in the file area 
of the Yahoo group.
