Hi gang, Just did yet another stupid move but everything seems O.K. !
Thinking (if you can call it that) that because my scanner wasn't powered up, I could just plug my external (terminated) CD ROM into SCSI Port 2 on the scanner and so I did. Then I see by Profiler that the 9500 is perfectly aware of the added SCSI device :�0 Duh! Of course the port would be "live" as far as the bus is concerned even though the scanner wasn't on. So anyway. . . is everything optimal with this configuration? HD_____ 0 Internal CD______3 Scanner______5 External Rom (end of chain-terminated) _____ 6 Can one make a terminator out of an extra SCSI cable?
