Used to use it for my monitor. Then I found it worked great for 
turning my SCSI zip on and off with my computer. I didn't want to 
leave the zip on all the time but then I used to forget to turn it on 
before my computer. No more "SCSI restarts". Years ago got a short 
1ft. power cord adapter with the correct male end. Could probably 
put a 2 or 3-way tap on it and still turn my monitor on/off as well 
but need to check the power specs for that outlet to see what it can 
handle.
