How can I tell in advance whether a particular SCSI drive is supported by Apple HD SC or some third party formatter? Is there some site I can go to and enter a model number to get jumper configuration and firmware information on different drives? Or can I open up the support tables for the formatters?
I have a pair of HP 2.1GB 50 pin SCSI drives here, and although they show up on the SCSI bus, I can't format them, with either HD SC or FWB HD Toolkit.
