This depends on your style basically.   I've found that if I have to 
take something home to work on as long as I use Photoshop 5 and 
Freehand 8, which are my two app's of choice, my lil 72/7300  
frankenmac does just as good as my 733 G4 or 800 iBook running them in 
Classic.  Even Quark 4 works just fine in classic, just have to do the 
windowshade thing every so often to redraw the screen if you switch 
away from Quark and back.

I steer clear of Photoshop 7 and Freehand 10 other than to downsave 
things on this machine, at work I use whatever version they are in 
though Freehand 10 is noticeably slower than 8 even on my G4 or iBook.
