used Illustrator and a suppourted PostScript Level 2 printer, you shouldnt have these issues....at least I never do.
Since this thread is about PCI-PowerMacs, I initially supposed the subject (which needs to be changed BTW) is OK.
However, OSX was not meant for these computers and we do have a list expressly meant for this sorta stuff.
Thus, I striongly suggest further discussion, especially bad-mouthing the OS, go to the right List.
