I don't know where you would find the ready hacked driver offhand -
I hacked this OS9.1 version 1.4 myself way back when I installed 9.1 -
before that I used the Charismac standalone driver CD Rom Extension V
1.58 or 1.59 which used to be free from their site but has now been
pulled for some reason - this will also drive many cd players not
recognised by the Apple driver and is quite a bit more robust and
reliable than the Apple.
If you want a copy of the hacked Apple 1.4 or the Charismac I can
mail it to you - I don't think it breaches any list rules does it?
