Hi, I have a 7500 that I want to upgrade. I intend to use the Tempo Trio card for FireWire, USB, and additional IDE devices. I also intend to swap out the factory 2 GB SCSI hard drive and use a bigger IDE hard drive hooked to the Trio card as the main drive. This drive is actually scavenged from my iMac with a complete working OS 9.2.2. Can I use the IDE drive via the Trio card as the bootable drive? Or do I need to use the on-board SCSI connection for the startup drive? Does this make sense?
Any advice is helpful. Thanks, Michael -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
