a question for the list......sorry if it seems a bit vague. i have a 9500 w/ a XLR8 G3/300 ZIF carrier upgrade card (CPU was originally 9500/150) can't get it to boot from CD. gets to happy mac & freezes.
I've tried: two different apple CD drives different OS install CDs (OS 8.5, OS 9) reseating RAM & CPU card removing all PCI cards (except for IX3D video card) removing all SCSI devices except CD-ROM resetting CUDA zapping PRAM still stumped. any suggestions? thanks. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
