The answer: never. After following this issue for years, I can only 
conclude that making MicroSlob's OSes more secure would involve
sacrificing "functionality" in their scripting & inter-application
communication environments (a.k.a. spyware/backdoorware) that their
long-range business plan (a.k.a. perpetual rentalware) requires.
