Hi all, just upgraded to this list, I have since 7 years a 6200, the machine worked fine for normal work until 18 months ago I got my first internet connection and found out very soon that I have a Road Apple, I upgrade all I could, still it was a slow machine online. I am based in Bangkok and here is no second hand market for Apple products, so I got all upgrades from the US.
My latest upgrade is a motherboard from a 6500/250. I know my 6200 very well but have no idea about the PCI motherboard. What I have now is 64 mb ram, I will upgrade with another 64 mb a comm slot 2 ethernet card, I use a external 56k modem, the original pci riser 2 card I can't get in in my 6200 case, so I will need a low rise 1 slot card. There is no video card, That is all I know. What can I connect to this pci slot? Upgrade to G3, USB connection, firewire, I have really no idea. It would be great if someone has parts I can use.
