Depending on how hard you tax the powersupply, it could get a bit warm. The higher speed processor and potential needs of the PCI bus consume more power.
The PCI slot can readily handle a USB card (I have a "generic" one in my 6500). I have a NewerTech G3/400 card in a 6360 (same chassis as the 6200) and it works well. Had to nibble away a small portion of the bracket holding the drive support rack due to interference with the NewerTech heat sink, but it was a small thing. If you are used to the video system of the 6200, you will be rather impressed with the "built-in" video (ATI Rage, if I recall correctly). Enjoy.
