I believe it's quite simple. Because DRAM slot 1 supports only single-bank
DIMMs, I guess the DIMM, you had or. in slot 2, is a double-bank 32MB DIMM.
It will seen by slot 1 as 16MB.
To be sure: Go back to original situation but with DIMM 2 in slot 1 and DIMM
1 in slot 2. If ASP says 32MB now then DIMM 2 is a double-bank and therefor
only full-usable in slot 2 and 3.
Or goto <http://www.chipmunk.nl/DRAM/ChipManufacturers.htm> and check your
DIMM's to be completely sure.
