I only make direct use of my old PCI PowerMacs for 8 weeks out of the
year at the summer camp I run. There are several things I do with them
in the off season:

1) If there are employees of mine who don't have/can't afford a
computer, I lend them out during the off-season. My 4400 is currently
on loan for that purpose.

2) They make great servers for all types of stuff. For one, OS 9 is a
virtually unhackable web server (which is why www.army.mil uses WebSTAR
on OS 9 to serve up their web site). I use my 7500 as a music server
and for backups.

If I didn't currently live in a closet in Manhattan, I would probably
do other nifty things with my trusty old 7500, including playing around
with home automation (X-10).
