Hey gang o' mine...
What is the EM extension; what does it do? It is the 1st extension that loads
in my OS 8.6 7300 / Sonnet G3.
(Assuming that the first extionsion loads IS ALSO the 1st alphabeticly-listed
extension in the Ext. folder?)
It checks if you pressed Alt-Space (or Command-Space, don't remember right now, I don't use that) during startup, and if so, it opens the Extension Manager so that you may deactivate certain extensions. IMO it's useless, I have removed it. Of course if you remove "EM extension", you can still use Extension Manager, the only thing you cannot do is to use it during startup.
It's just space. I have always found it quite useful. Essential if you have to debug an extension conflict.
