I have a Performa 5400/180 running )S9.2 via a neat 'hack' I bought a Belkin USB Card from a guy on Ebay who said he'd been running the card in a Beige G3. I checked on the Belkin website to see if I needed to download driver/s, said this was not necessary in OS 9 as drivers are in built. Well the card won't work in the system profiler the PCI card is identified but information like "card type" etc is missing.
There is some information on the Belkin website referring PCI slot version needing to be 2.1 or higher. Anyone know what version PCI slot this Performa model is? Looks like I may have messed up here try asking for my money back but think that's a blind alley, still if the worst comes to the worst I'll bang the card into a PC heaven forbid!! Is it possible for this model to have USB porting or is it too old?
Thanks
