Carbon lib runs on OS 8.6 on up...I know, I just had to upgrade it on my 5300.
Sonnett upgrade card for MORE POWER!!! (add in Tim Allen grunts)
Just don't have the money right now to buy a newer Mac so would like to make
this one a little better for a while...
Alas, here I've got to agree with David E. Save your money and buy a better Mac, or at least a more expandable Mac, if you want all of this.
Wait until after Monday. If the rumor and hoopla is right, and the 'G5' macs are in the offing, used Mac prices are gonna fall, as people sell off their old stuff to buy new ones.
But a 7200 isn't really worth upgrading, at least processor-wise. The USB card and IDE card are movable to a newer Mac, so I wouldn't worry about that, but buying the G3 processor for it is not really worth it.
