I don't think it's an extension conflict, it happens on completely clean
installs of both OS 8 and OS 9.  I can leave every extension enabled and
just disable ASLM-PPC and it will boot up fine.  It's only the ASLM-PPC that
will crash it on boot up.

I will check the RAM like you suggested though
