I have a modified 7500 with a G3 300 in it. i flashed an Adaptec AHA2940UW and got a very cheap 36GB LVD SCSI drive (10k RPM also). I have seen these drives available for as low as $40. The card is a PC card so it runs around $20 if not less. There are also IDE solutions but the IDE adapters seem to be expensive and I haven't found one that is flash-able on the PC side. IDE drives on the other hand are notoriously cheap.
