I originally asked Mike to post the additional screen shots from the System Profiler because I though Jeffrey was correct, that there was a PCI controller card present. I was wrong there.
My only other thought is that perhaps Mike has a G4 Server rather than a regular G4 machine. My only experience with the G4s is the iMac Flat Panel. Anyone know how to tell the G4 Server and regular G4 apart?
One of the reasons they called it SCSI Voodoo was that SCSI sometimes worked when it shouldn't. That is usually not the case with new world machines. They are pretty much black and white in how they perform. And, I have to agree with David that this "should not work." Yeah, Mike, I know it is working for you. But, I think these is something we are all missing.
