I will Install on my OS X software RAID tonight to see if it works in my B&W ; then we will know. BTW, have you considered sending your install log to the list? I'm sure it has all the info about which drive you installed to, and you can include the Disk Utility log and it will show how you striped the drives...plus, they are timestampped entries....it would be fairly irreefutable. The reason as to why it works for you (and hopefully me) as opposed to others, however, is beyond me. An engineer I am not, heh.
