The only time my macs EVER frozen is while running 8.6 it was copying from the cd drive as it is only 2x. It froze pretty often while running 8.5. ~ Ben ~ I've never tried 9.1 as I don't have an install cd, but I'm looking for one! :-) ~ Ben ~
