I bought a 7200/120 a few months ago. It has 32mb RAM and was loaded up with OS 8.6. I'm finding it too slow, so I was wondering if putting the free OS 7.5.5 on it would improve things? I mainly use it for the internet (running through a LAN), MS Word 6, and a few old games.
I just want to make sure that I won't lose any essential things like TCP/IP support, as the computer didn't come with any OS disks. I'd rather not upgrade its ram, as it is fairly expensive in Australia (AU$44 for 32mb RAM). -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
