Some of the 6200/6300 machines had an error in the ROM that causes
instability with OS 8 and up. Supposed to be a "free" fix from Apple,
but
who know at this point!

Ken

Ahhhhh......... now, here's someone who understands my problem. So it
was a free fix from Apple. Is the fix simple or if I take it to a
repair shop will they charge me more than my mortgage? Does anyone know
if Apple will still honour this? I could ask them I suppose, I think
they may look down their noses at me and my male pride is holding me
back.... stupid twit that I am.
