I've mentioned in this forum before my sad story, of the loss of months of
work when my Zip drive developed the 'Click-of-Death' and ruined several
disks, my data gone (I didn't have Disk Warrior, which apparently was able
to retrieve at least one lucky person's data from a Zip disk).

Iomega did replace both of my bad drives, and 5 or 6 disks as well, but only
after being pressured by thousands of unhappy users and grilled on national
TV about the issue.

Like the writer above, I'll never trust anything of any importance to a Zip
disk; now all of my data goes to CD (not perfect, but MUCH better than a Zip
disk!) I haven't used my replacement, working Zip drives for years now, and
likely never will again.
