I was looking at a used G4/400 at my local Apple store today. I explained to the salesman that I was looking for something to get me started. I don't have $1000 to drop on a computer right now. I plan on buying a low end used G4 and building on it over time. He told me that the CPU in a G4/400 can't be upgraded. Is that true? I was hoping to get one that I can max out with RAM and eventually get a 700 or 800 Mhz CPU to put in it. Can someone please set me straight before I make a mistake?

Thanks,

Kevin
