Okay this is driving me nuts... Hopefully someone can help.
I have a G3/300/256mb ram/ OS 9.1 When I run IE 5.01 ( I know I know...) If I try to open multiple windows with my 56k dailup connection, the system freezes. This is happening with more and more frequency and it's becoming more frusttrating. I don't have to option of broadband or dsl because of my location.. Any ideas?
IE is now up to version 5.1.7. I'd suggest installing the latest version. Also, allocating more memory to the application might help.
Finally, you might try going to OS 9.2.2.
Another alternative is to use another browser, such as iCab <http://www.icab.de> or Opera <http://www.opera.com>
