Thanks! I tried your test and am happy to say the flexed cable and the rap on
the side of the monitor had no effect on the image, no yellow flash, no
flicker. I really think there is some kind of electrical interference from the
construction upstairs. It happened so suddenly and tonight seems fine. I hope this
is the end of this problem. I can't afford a new monitor and I love this one!
IT si wierd tyhough dont you agree?

does it flicker non working hours aswell ? what about reseating the pci cards etc ?
