I know.  I installed X on the 8600 a couple of months ago from a setof
borrowed installation CD,s.  I jus got the G4 last week, so I ordered Jaguar
for myself, and it hasn't come in yet.  I am trying to move some files over
so I can use the G4 exclusively.

Yes, I selected the card in the PCI slot.  Internet and e-mail work on both
machines.

After stopping and restarting file sharing, I finally was able to see the
8600 in the chooser.  When I connected and tried to transfer some files, the
G4 locked up.  I shut down and restarted, but now I can't re-connect.  All
settings are the same as before.
