there is a chance you've got a virus. run a virus
checker and see what comes up. or check your
extenstions - meaning set it to 9.1 base and
reinstall the rest one by one to see who the
culprit is.

Subject: 9600 system bombs

Hi all,

I have a 9600 with a sonnet G3/500 card in it. I
am running 9.1 with 848 meg of ram. Lately I have
been getting a great amount of system bombs
and then the computer won't restart until I
unplug it and leave it sit for 30 minutes or so.
Usually then I can get it to start, if I am
lucky.
Sometimes I have had to put a floppy disk in it
(any floppy disk seems to work), other times if I
zap the pram it starts to boot.
Last time it bombed I was using Internet Explored
browsing and I got the Bomb, system error,
Internet Explorer address error. But I have
gotten
bus error, unimplimented trap errors, illegal
instruction errors and sometimes I just get a
cursor that moves and a gray screen nothing
 else.
Anyone have any ideas? I have run disk warrior,
tech tools and norton systemworks. They fix
problems at the time and then it happens again.
The
last time I tried to delete the desktop using
tech tools, was the worst as I thought I was
never going to get the machine started again.

Thanks for any help.

Pam
