Hi All, I think I have tracked down my problems. I have TechTools pro and I have run that and when I open the ram window I see some very strange things in the slots. I would run the ram check and everything would check out fine. But in the window its self I had two ram chips that instead of coming up with 128mb would come up with a negative number. Then there is one chip that came up with 1024mb. Then one slot (B6) kept coming up with 1024mb even though there was nothing in the slot. I think I have finally got things fixed as I pulled 3 128mb chips and at this point when I go into the ram window all seem to show up just fine. I believe I fried a motherboard in a power tower pro I had becasue of bad memory and I don't want to do it to this machine. It is hard to lose that much memory but I would rather do that than lose my machine. Does anyone know of where I might get a good ram checker program that would tell me for sure what ram was good and what was bad?
