I'm sorry, my bad. I somehow read 'Beige G3' rather than 'G3'. Yours is a Blue & White G3, a so-called 'New World' machine and so supports USB keyboards just fine.


Yes, your mac has PCI slots, but the G-list is the appropriate forum for questions about it, if only for the practical reason is that's the forum where the people who have those computers mostly hang out...

Part of the problem is that the name of this mailing list isn't as descriptive as it once was. (nor is it of such a volume that the list nannies clamp down on off-topic postings as much as they used to. I would wager that many more people own G3 systems (iMacs, B&W G3's, Beige G3's, G4's and G5's ) than own the systems covered in this list (the 7200-9600 series of Macs.)
