That's part of the reason I switched. With Netscape 4.79 I always had problems with cnn.com, hsn.com, to mention a few.
Peter. However, I just noticed that Mozilla 1.2.1 does not have a spell checker (I have not done a thorough investigation though).

I too fought with Netscape 4.73 / 4.79 for two years. Struggled to improve Java capability with no joy.

Opera seemed too different so I downloaded Netscape 6.2 .

Ninety five percent of the Java problems went away and the ones that are left rarely crash or freeze the system.

I cannot give an opinion of Mozilla as I have never even seen it. Just relating my experience with an improved Netscape.
