The only problem with them is that you need the correct adapter and termination on these drives. I used Apple Disk Utility to initialize and mount this drive.Same here. I also used it to reformat it before I sent it out.

Yes, a 68 to 50 female. Termination is done on the drive itself.
It all depends. I actually had to put a line terminator on the end of the scsi chain before it got rid of all the boot glitches......
