Hi, I've a hybrid PCI Mac, featuring a 7600 mobo and an xlr8 G3 upgrade. I run OS 9.1.
I also have a so-far-unused Seagate Cheetah, ultra-fast scsi drive. It requires a card to work at optimum speed. And here's the deal. Not only do I need to know which card to buy for this Mac, but I'm thinking of moving up to G4 on this or a 9500, and using some version of OS X. I realize that some fast SCSI cards don't handle OS X. So my question becomes: 1. which card should I buy? 2. which version of OS X should I run on a G4-upgraded 9500? I look forward to your help. timo -- Signwave Finder Mail 0.5a - http://www.signwave.co.uk/ -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
