Hello listers!
I have a problem with a brand new SCSI drive thats about to DRIVE me nuts!
Ive been trying to get everything working for 2 days now. First I have a
7300 wth a G3 Powerlogix card, OS 9.2.2, 496 mb RAM and ATI video card.

Similar story....

Bought brand new (supposedly) 18Gb IBM from a seller off of ebay. He boasted that they were compatible with my 7300/200. I'm pretty sure they are 80 pin drives (could be 68), but come equipped with a 50 pin adapter. Immediately upon connecting to my internal bus my 12 x CD Rom started acting up. I could complete an install if the CD didn't lock up, but most of the time afterward when booting from this drive the finder would crash although I could still move the mouse around.

The seller was willing to help but since I like to experiment, I found that placing a jumper on the drive to terminate it cured just about all my woes.

Now if I could get Acrobat Reader to print, I would be happy.
