I put the 32's in various locations, including _all_ locations, and booted
from an external universal System 9.2.2.  I ran 200 passes on each change,
and ALL OF THEM PASSED.

I think Fluxstringer must have nailed it:  These DIMM's must just not be
compatible in some way with this motherboard.  I've put them in a 7600,
7500, and a 6160 and they've been fine.  All those machine use the 8 bit
slow SCSI bus, though.

I wonder if this is an issue with PCI 2.0, versus 2.1 or 2.2.  I know this
one is 2.0 compliant, not 2.1 or 2.2.

My investigation is over:  It works now, and I ain't messin' wit it no mo'!
