Wow. > > ~Yersinia. I went to http://wamcom.org/latest-131/ and chose the link for Apple Mac OS 8.6 and 9.x classic. There are separate links for other OSs including X. So no, it is not "for OS X". (Bit like my drill, it is for all sorts of things depending on what how I configure... you know I use a sanding pad on it every year to get rid of the rust on my 33 yr old Ford XY to trick the garage into letting me register it for yet another year (moral reason: even if it was 75% rusted away, it would still be stronger than modern cars)) Actually, as I have appeared to be so publicly happy with OE (my real feelings about the way MS stuff works on Macs is more mixed and darker but OE has been excellent...), I might investigate a Mozilla that does not have the mail component, I know there is one, Firefox or fly or something, but I want it should be as opened sourced as this 1.3 I just got, I like the concept and the feedback arrangements. I should really add that my impressions of the speed of Mozilla 1.3 were from getting about on my own web sites off line. On 56K everything is so slow that it is harder to know what is causing speed or slowness (the line traffic or the browser ... a huge percentage is the modem line to ISP and beyond...)
