Shoot.  No such luck.  I yanked out the main board, removed and reinstalled
all the removable sticks that I saw in there.  Not a bit of change in
performance.

Tube problems?  Internal power problems?  Man, if past experiences with
televisions are any indication, that's got to be one pricey repair.  Any
idea how much it'd cost?  So it looks like this thing is just kaput and not
worth the money to repair.
