Yup. The Internal SCSI cable. When I got my 8100, I have a feeling that's the problem because there a sticker in front saying it'll boot with floppy. So, I figure it must be something with the SCSI cable (my 8100 doesn't have a CD-ROM - otherwise, you can try booting from CD-ROM, just hold down the C key when starting up the Mac).
