Best Data makes an external USB modem for use with Mac or Pc, works great on
my parent's 5500/225, costs about $40. I put in a standard 2-port USB 1.1
pci card. Also have a Canon USB printer plugged into it. The computer runs
on 9.1 which is the best OS to use on pre-G3 powermacs. eBay would be a good
place to look for G3 upgrade cards. I favor the XLR8 brand cards, they are
awesome.
