The cheap routers are often NAT only with very limited filtering or logging. I've started to see this change in the last couple of months. I think in 6 months that will be a good option. But for now, I think it is too hit and miss with the device you may get. Webramps are great devices. They licensed the software from SonicWall which is still in business. However, SonicWall does not support Webramps.
I'm too busy to type out the config suggestions today. Contact me off list and I'll give you a phone number and 5 minutes of conversation. Otherwise I'll try to post some suggestions in a day or two.

I'm still trying to get the router to work with my DSL modem, on my PowerMac 7300/500. No luck yet.
I also tried the PPPOE setting on the router webpage, but that too did not work.
Is this router not compatible with my DSL modem (SpeedStream 5260)?
Any ideas? Suggestions?
Dump the thing with no support, go to Best Buy, CompUSA, Office Max or someplace that has the cheapest cable/dsl router advertised today...you shouldn't pay more than $50, and probably a lot less...how much is your time worth?
Modern routers are plug-n-play.
