I'm feeling the need to back up my box (PM 9600/4 gig drive) pretty acutely [bites nails]. What I'm wondering is: are Jaz disks a worthwhile (meaning fairly dependable) media to use for backups or not?
One and two GB JAZ disks are extremely reliable backup media. We've been using them for years. They're also good, albeit expensive, for archival purposes.
They're a poor transport media, IMO, tho -- too fragile for shipping. ZIP and CD are better for that.
