Upgrade to System 7.6.1 or newer with its Open Transport. It has a more reliable DHCP client and DNR built-in.

Trying to remember... 7.6 was a pay upgrade? *grumble* Stick with 7.5.5. If you have any DHCP problems, lemme know.
If yer gonna pay for any OS upgrades for your 7300, just score a 9.1 CD, then add OS9Helper to get to 9.2.2...
