Well, since I'm not getting sound out of the line-out, there should be another option: like maybe Built-in, Line Out, AV Out, DAV Out (not that there's anything down there). I'm probably mistaken, though.

First thoroughly clean the jack and the plug with contact cleaner or alcohol. Then check your wire for damage..
Try the port with a set of headphones known to be good on another source such as a CD player.
