This is a good object lesson for ... primarily ... early MaxPowr cards, 
those which seem to blow their L2 cache chips more easily than others.

With the motherboard cache, the G3 card is still usable, but the MaxPowr 
enabler won't work.

So, delete the MaxPowr enabler, install the cache card (1 MB if you have 
one), and go for it.
